Corporate
Vulcan Minerals
Vulcan is a junior Canadian exploration company focused on searching for new petroleum and mineral deposits in Canada. Our objective is to discover large deposits of economic significance that will have a major impact on the value of our company. Exploration, by its nature is a high-risk activity, requiring a continuous feed of high-risk capital in order to test geological models and concepts. Accordingly, the discovery of economic deposits brings high rewards to those investors who share the vision of successful explorationists.
Vulcan's business philosophy is to joint venture or option out properties to partners who can provide the necessary capital to advance quality, science based exploration. However, the company is also willing to pursue exceptional opportunities on its own behalf at the early stages of exploration such as the onshore western Newfoundland petroleum exploration program. Strategic investment in advancing exploration at the early stages can result in much more rewarding joint ventures that create additional value for shareholders.
